FUNCTION FROM THE POSITION OF REVELATION

FUNCTION FROM THE POSITION OF REVELATION

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2 (KJV)

If you can catch a revelation of who God is, then you can also see yourself in Him and then function like Him. For instance, if you see Him as a healer, then get ready to be healed. If you can see Him as a provider, get ready for awesome supplies. You can go on and on in this manner. He is the Almighty God, so don’t place a limit on Him. Upon creation, when Adam opened his eyes, the first being he saw was God. He caught a revelation of the Almightiness of God, and thereafter began to operate like God. Use your imagination! Adam singlehandedly named all the animals and God did not object. (Genesis 2:19).

Until you learn to see God as He really is, you will not function like Him. The disciples had varying opinions, but Peter caught the revelation of who He is. It was only Peter who saw Jesus as the Anointed One and recognized His anointing.

I have come to challenge you today to see God as He is so that you can function from the position of revelation. This is what will make you stand tall and disregard whatever the devil and his cohorts are doing. Remember that it is only those that know their God that shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32).

The Roman centurion, though not a covenant person, tapped into grace based on the revelation. He was able to place a demand for healing upon the anointing Jesus carried because he knew that His words carried power. If this man, who wasn’t even a Jew, could see Jesus as the Almighty who can overrule any contrary situation, what about you? My prayer is that you will catch a fresh glimpse of God today and begin to function like Him.
