FOLLOW THE LORD WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART

FOLLOW THE LORD WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART

“Nevertheless, my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s forever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God”. Joshua 14:8-9 (KJV)

You must endeavour to follow this God with your whole heart. This is because God would not fail you. God has never failed and would not do it in your time. Caleb followed the Lord wholly when Moses the servant of God sent him and his fellow spies to scout through the land of Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. He came back with an excellent report. And because he did it wholly unto the Lord, he received an everlasting inheritance for himself, his children, and his unborn generation.

Caleb said: “And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.” (Joshua 14:10 KJV).

God kept him alive while others died in the wilderness because he followed the Lord. You will receive the manifestations of His promises in your life and your family if you dare to follow Him wholly.

Your heart must be focused on this God. Follow through in His Word. Don’t let doubt creep into your heart. Confess the Word and the promises of God continually. Pray without ceasing. Do the works of God, which is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died and was resurrected on the third day for your justification and glory. There is no margin of failure or error with our God.

Follow His words and good promises for your life. What the Word of God cannot give you does not exist, and you don’t need it. When you follow God diligently, and earnestly, He will always come through for you without fail.
