FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:” Philippians
Today, for the fourth day running I am calling on you to be your brother’s keeper. You are not the light of the Church but the light of the world.
Multitudes are walking on the streets in need of an encounter. Some people need to be ministered to in our offices and marketplaces. Others are in our environment and in different places where we operate. They all have one thing in common. They need Jesus. The uncertainties in their lineage and the challenges of life had beaten them so down that they cannot help themselves. Some are just groping around the dark looking for a way out.
What is required of them to be able to receive the healing, the deliverance, and the victory they need, is for you that had experienced the mountaintop to come down to their location. This is the hour for the church to come down from the mountain and focus on fixing the challenges in the valley. If you don’t access people, you cannot help them. You cannot give to people what you don’t have. And if it has been given to you, then come down to share with others.
It is time to be like Jesus, the son of the Living God, who left heaven and came to earth to deliver man from the bondage of sin. He left the comfort of heaven. He wouldn’t qualify to be our Saviour without coming down to earth. He didn’t hold on to his position as God. He walked this earth as man, He felt what we feel. He suffered the pain and went on to pay the supreme price just for you. He is not calling you to die for your neighbour, He has paid the price, why then can you not be His extension to help that brother or sister?
