FILL YOUR HEART WITH GOOD TREASURE
“A good man out the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out
of evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” Matthew 12:35 (KJV)
If somebody is around you and keeps saying all manner of evil: how bad and difficult things are,
how things will not work, how everyone is against you and him, pretty soon, as your mind is
being bombarded, you will begin to meditate on negative things. It is dangerous to just think you
can walk with any type of person.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart will produce good results. The good treasure
speaks of what he has stored, the good things he has heard, the type of picture that has been
painted, and what he has inscribed and rooted in his spirit.
Do you know that you can be in an organization that has been a tremendous blessing to you, then
suddenly somebody begins to paint a very bad picture about that same organization and you will
see yourself gravitating negatively to the wrong things? From that moment, you will never see
any good thing in that same place that has been a blessing in your life.
It is very important, therefore, that you are very careful about who you allow into your life, so
you don’t miss the destiny that God has ordained for you. The book of Proverbs 23:7 says, “For
as he thinketh in his heart, so is he… And in the book of Romans 12:2, Paul says; “And be not
conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
When you begin to think on God’s word, you are headed towards God’s destiny for your life.
When you make up your mind, that it is only what God thinks and says about you that matters,
and not what somebody else has said concerning you, your steps are directed. The steps of a
good man are ordered of the Lord and he delights in his path.
