FEED ON THE WORD
Dearly beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God and our soon coming King. Thank God for the opportunity to see a brand newweek.
This morning, I just want to charge you with a Word from Colossians 3:16 (KJV), which says “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Beloved, what you feed will grow. Our text admonishes us to ensure that the Word of Christ dwells in us “richly”, which means that you must be full of the Word, such that when pressures come, it is the Word that you’ve stored in, that automatically comes out. Take this to the bank, it’s either you are feeding your spirit, or you are feeding your flesh. Whichever one you feed, is the one that will rule and control your life.
Don’t allow laziness stop you from feeding your spirit because it will be to your detriment. You must be intentional and brutal about your growth and development.
As you step into this new week, I pray that the eyes of your understanding will be flooded with light, so that you know and enjoy all that God has packaged for you. You will possess your possessions.
In His Royal Service
