FAITH IS NOW OR NEVER

FAITH IS NOW OR NEVER

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 KJV

The first book I wrote is “Faith is Now or Never”. In other words, if faith is not now, then forget it, it’s not faith. If faith is future tense or past tense, it is not faith, because our God lives in the eternal now. Our God does not live in yesterday or tomorrow. The scripture in Malachi 3:6 says; ‘I am the Lord, I change not, therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.’ I am!  I live in the now. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever more. In other words, He is now.

Now faith…! If you say you are exercising faith and you are putting things in the future, you are not walking in faith. If you say: “Oh, I believe I will receive it later on”, after you have prayed and hands have been laid on you, you are not acting in faith. If faith is not in the present tense, then, it is not faith. Now faith is, not was or will be. If it was, it is past!  If it will be, it is futuristic!  But the Word of God says: “Now faith is…”; which is present tense.

The next thing I want you to see in Hebrews 11:1 is this, it says: “Now faith is the substance…” Can you see now that it is not just something that exists in your imagination. Substance means something that is tangible. Faith is the substance of things that you are hoping for in life. Faith gives substance to it and it is the evidence of things you do not see yet. Evidence means something tangible too. When you go to court of law, even though a case had happened, there must be somebody who can validate it and say ‘I saw it happen.’ That is proof that it happened. The judge does not need to be there, because there is somebody who said ‘look; these are the things that happened.’
