EMBRACE THE LOVE OF CHRIST

EMBRACE THE LOVE OF CHRIST

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 KJV

That is the summary of the love of God. He did not wait for you to clean yourself up, like the songwriter said, “Just as I am without one plea”. He took you in with all your mess. He knew it was totally impossible for you to clean yourself up, so He took the initiative. You did not beg Him, He chose to come. He knew that to redeem man, He has to come as a man, walk the earth and pay the price and He did it all. Why then are you still bent on paying for your sins?

Beloved, the very fact that you were born of a woman is all that made you a sinner and there is no way you can save yourself: so, quit trying. Accept the price that Jesus as paid and thank Him.

In actual fact, the refusal to accept the finished work of Calvary is the highest show of pride. That is because what your action is saying is that you can save yourself, which is totally impossible. No man can save Himself, that was why Jesus came. I challenge you today to stop struggling. Stop and embrace the love of Christ. Thank Him for loving you so much that He paid the price for you. Rejoice in what He has done and then go into all the world and share that love with the dying world.

There are so many out there who do not understand the fact that the price has been paid in full. They are running helter-skelter looking for a solution to sin. It is, therefore, your responsibility to show them the love of Christ. Be that channel through which the love of Christ will flow into your world.
