DON’T LET GO OF THE WORD
Comments
“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightiest war a good warfare”. 1Timothy 1:18 (KJV)
Beloved, when prophesies go ahead of you concerning your life, take those words and begin to declare it to heaven. That is what it means to war a good warfare. Declare the promises that God has given you to Satan and his cohorts. Hold on to the Word, irrespective of what you are experiencing. Irrespective of the challenges and how depressing they may look, keep on declaring those Words that were spoken over your life.
The book of 1Timothy 1:19 says “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:” (KJV). Holding faith means you have to hold on to faith because there is the possibility that you can let go of faith. Hold on to your confidence because faith is like confidence. The book of Hebrew 10:35-36 says “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise” (KJV). Cast not away your confidence! This is very important because we are getting into situations in the global affairs that if you don’t hold on to your faith, you will not partake of what God has already made available to you as a child of God.
I encourage you to hold on tenaciously to God’s promises even if it seems like things are not progressing as you expect. He cannot fail. The blessings of God will be made manifest in your life. You will walk in the reality of who you are in Christ Jesus. I declare that creation will answer to you. You shall possess your possessions. No longer will you sit on the sidelines and watch events unfold. Whatever God has spoken to you that is still pending will rest upon you. There shall be no delay. The glory that God has ordained for you from the foundation of the world shall be seen in your life.
