DON’T ENGAGE SATAN IN DISCUSSIONS

DON’T ENGAGE SATAN IN DISCUSSIONS

“And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: And the woman said unto the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: “Genesis 3:2 (KJV)

Today, let us look at how man fell. The scripture tells us in the book of Genesis 3:1: “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord has made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” We need to understand why God will start that chapter with how Satan entered; telling us that the serpent was more subtle than all other animals He created. That is a revelation He is giving to you.

Satan is crafty, clever, and very insidious. He intends to steal, kill, and destroy. He is going to sneak in on you if you are not careful. Beware! An adversary is coming after you and he will beat you in the game of treachery and cleverness. Don’t ever think you know what to do. God warned them in advance. Immediately Satan came through the serpent, he attacked the word of God.

And Eve responded: “…we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden” (Genesis 3:2 KJV) God has not called you to engage the devil. A lot of us have fallen today because we are busy engaging the devil in a discussion. He will speak to you. He will tell you different kinds of things. The scripture is very clear about satan’s identity: “… He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44 KJV). And he intends to bring you down.

Even after being told that he is more subtle than any living thing, the woman started engaging the serpent. And he capitalized on Eve’s errors. Don’t ever hang around the devil or listen to what he says. If you do, he would deceive you into doing what he wants.
