DELIVERANCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE
“An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour; but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” Proverbs 11:9 (KJV)
Whatever you can do to ensure you receive as much Word as you can receive in these last days is very necessary. You just must do it! The devil will always do everything in his power to ensure you don’t get into the Word of God. He doesn’t mind you singing and dancing. As long as you don’t know what belongs to you, he will make minced meat of you. If you don’t know and understand what God has made available through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, you cannot appropriate them into your life.
Our text for today says that the just shall be delivered through knowledge. How can you even pray effectively if you don’t know what God has done for you? I discovered that some Christians now take fellowship for granted. They tell you that they are watching virtually; why will you take the virtual option when you can come in physically?
Beloved, you can’t afford to leave your life to chance in these last days. Don’t gamble with your life in our day and hour. As we climax the age, Satan’s activities are on the increase. He is seeking for whom he may devour. That means he does not devour every person.
You ought to ensure that nothing makes you deficient or inefficient in the use of God’s Word. At the end of the day, the devil is afraid of how much of the Word you are loaded with. Jesus showed us that in the scriptures. He was led by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil. What did He use to defeat the devil? The Word of God! “It is written”! So, if you don’t know what is written, what will you tell the devil when he comes to tempt you?
For your own sake, ensure you connect to fellowship, where you can be taught the Word of God. In the battle we are engaged in these last days, there must be precision, not hits and misses. So, soak yourself with the Word and maximise every opportunity to receive the Word because there is power in the Word of God.
