CONNECT TO COLLECT

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5 (KJV).

God intends for us to be productive. He intends for us to bear fruits, and He intends for us to be successful in whatever we are involved in. That is His intention and He has made adequate provisions for us to be successful in our health, our finances, and in all areas of our lives.

God wasn’t suggesting to us to be the branches nor was He telling us to try to be the branches. No! He wants us to realize that we already are the branches. And that is who we are.

Your ability to partake of what God has made available for you depends on your positioning. Your positioning is constant and stable. You can depend on it. Your positioning is unshakable. It doesn’t fluctuate with events and circumstances around you. Your circumstances may fluctuate, but it does not change your positioning in Christ. The Bible tells us that the things that we see are subject to change, but God’s word does not change. God’s word is infallible! It is errorless, and it is impregnable. You can depend on it!

As branches, all we need to do is to abide. Abide in Christ our vine. Stay there! No matter what you see. No matter the challenge you face, take your place in Christ. And how does that work? By becoming constantly conscious of that positioning every day! As you abide consciously in the vine, you shall be fruitful, just like a branch abides connected to the trunk of a tree and fruits are produced. Similarly, when you abide in the vine in truth, fruitfulness will be a natural phenomenon. You will just discover that you are producing results. Why? Because it is not about you. Life is in the vine! All you did was connect. You connect to collect!
