CHRISTIANITY IS A LIFESTYLE

CHRISTIANITY IS A LIFESTYLE

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Christianity is not religion. It is a lifestyle! It is a relationship. Here on earth, we represent Jesus Christ. Jesus is not a thief! Jesus is not an adulterer! Jesus is not a fornicator! Jesus does not fight on the street! Jesus shone as a light wherever he was during His earthly ministry. He was a solution provider.

How can you represent Jesus when you think that Christianity is about how often you come to church? There are many people with impeccable lifestyles around the world who are very devoted to their religion. But Jesus is the only gateway to heaven. You cannot be professing Christianity, and your lifestyle is rotten. What type of Christianity is that?

Jesus said: “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.” (John 17:18 NKJV). The way the Father sent Jesus is the same way Jesus has sent us. Jesus wants us to function the way He functioned.

Jesus did not blend in! Don’t blend in. Be an agent of change. Jesus was radical about what He stood for. He was radical about the Kingdom. How can you call yourself a Christian, and yet you don’t know where you stand on the issue of whether a man marrying a man is the right thing or a woman marrying a woman? There are things that are sacrosanct! You should not query such things! Don’t query divine order! In the beginning, God! No apology!

The transformation that enables you to live the Kingdom lifestyle happens through the Word.

The word is not just meant to be a ritual. The Word sets you apart! When the Word impacts you, transformation takes place within you. Something brand new happens because you have received an impartation from the Word. And pretty soon, people will begin to see that you are different.
