CHRIST RESTORED YOU TO YOUR ORIGINAL STATE

CHRIST RESTORED YOU TO YOUR ORIGINAL STATE

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV)

When man fell, he fell from grace to grass, and brought upon himself sickness, disease, poverty, starvation and death. The fall brought upon us what man was not wired to carry. We were not wired for poverty, failure, confusion or disappointment. We are wired for excellence. This is what made David say in the book of Psalms 139:14 (KJV) “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” But the moment man sinned, that which he was not wired to carry, came upon him. However, God’s agenda did not change. And so He required a price to be paid, so that man could be restored back to what he was originally wired for. This is why Jesus came.

The book of Hebrew 2:16-17 (KJV) says, “For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.” The scripture is telling us here that Jesus became a man to feel what we feel. You cannot help somebody when you do not know how he is feeling. So Jesus had to take on the human body and then he came down so as to feel what we feel. He came to repair what Adam messed up. He understands humanity! For as a Man, He was tempted in every way just as we are, and yet, conquered sin for us.

The great exchange took place right there on the cross. Therefore, as a child of God, you must not accommodate sickness. You must shut your the door against barrenness because you don’t belong there. You are alien to disease, poverty and to disappointments. You have a goodly and beautiful heritage in Christ.
