Bishop Mike Okonkwo – The power of Imagination
We need to understand that there is no accident with God. He is a God with purpose and objectivity. He knows everything about us and there is practically nothing hidden to him about us. Sometimes we forget our position and the power we have Gen 11: 6 says “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” We need to note this if you want to experience commanded blessing, we need to be one, as a family, church, spouse etc.
When you see it in your imagination, all the materials you need will be received. Our imagination has been given to us by God, once it is established in your thought, it will manifest. What do you see about yourself, marriage, children, work and every area of your life? These are the questions we need to ask ourselves.
Once you capture the image in your head it will be established, therefore, be careful what you imagine. Even God himself used imagination because the world was created in his imagination Gen 1: 1.
You must constantly see yourself and thank God for it. Jeremiah 1: 10 – 12. Don’t allow the devil to lie to you that you lack anything. Every time you see contrary to what the bible says belong to you, then you are not seeing well.
Ps 1: 1 – 3. We need to know that there is no lack for candidates of heaven, therefore we need to meditate on the word day and night Joshua 1: 8. There is no need too big that heaven has not gotten a supply. 2 Corinthian 10 : 5 “ casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”
