BELIEVE YOUR MAN OF GOD

BELIEVE YOUR MAN OF GOD

“And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.” 2Kings 4:21 (KJV)
You can’t walk into the presence of God and walk away without something happening to you. To be called a Christian is the greatest compliment for a child of God. As a child of God, heaven takes responsibility over your affairs, your job, your marriage, your finance and your health. There are people I look at and I get inspired.
In 2 Kings 4:18-20, the Shunamite woman’s son suddenly died. All hope was lost but she believed in hope. She carried the dead child. Her position was: “God it was not my idea. You gave this child to me” Every good and perfect gift is from above. It comes from the father with whom there is no variableness neither shadow of turning. “You can’t give me a miracle and kill my miracle.”
She carried the baby, put him on the bed of the man of God and went after the man of God.
Don’t underestimate your man of God. I know that we live in a world where everyone is saying: ‘I’m a man of God’. But don’t underestimate it when God brings you under a true man of God. Humble yourself and yoke up with your man of God to build the kingdom because therein lies your destiny.
She went to Elisha who sent Gehazi with his staff but was not able to bring the child back to life. It is not about imitating what Elisha does. It is not about preaching his message. It is not about wearing collar like he does. It is about what is on the inside of you.
Of course, I love the woman. She refused to go. She was saying, in essence, you are my man of God. I am connected. I will not be disconnected. The life that flows from you will flow into my son. You know the story. A hopeless situation was turned around. Her son was delivered to her alive. Why are you giving up hope? Stay connected to God.
