BE SECURED IN WHO YOU ARE

BE SECURED IN WHO YOU ARE

“And David said, is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?  2 Samuel 9:1 KJV

When you know someone who talks evil about you or who seizes every opportunity to slander you and suddenly, you are the one to now decide his fate, how would you handle it? Beloved, the way and manner you handle the situation reflects your strength. Another factor that will determine how you handle the situation is knowing how secure you are. When you feel secure, you are not moved by the circumstances around you.

Insecure people are very dangerous. They can kill and they can destroy. When a wife is not secure, every female that comes around her husband is a threat. Same applies to a man that is insecure. When a man is insecure and his wife earns more money than he does, he becomes bitter. These are some of the things we have to knock off in the Christian faith. Why should you be intimidated because God is lifting up your spouse? It is because you do not know your position. David said: Is there still anyone remaining in Saul’s house that I may show him kindness?

When you are in charge, you are not intimidated. Let anyone become anything, you know your position in God, and you are secured in God. When you are secure you are not intimidated by the role another is playing because your own role is vitally important, and you rejoice in it. For instance, when I listen to some people teach the Bible, I like to be like them which is a natural feeling. But I am Brother Mike and I am secure in who I am. I am God’s original. When God made me, he threw away every other copy. Beloved, when you operate within the confines of God’s call upon your life, there is an anointing that rests upon you. There is a position for you. You don’t have to be someone else.
