BE SECURE IN WHO YOU ARE

BE SECURE IN WHO YOU ARE

“And this is the record of John when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.” John 1:19-20 (KJV)

When you know someone who talks badly about you, or who seizes every opportunity to slander you and suddenly you are the one to now decide his fate, how will you handle it? Beloved, the way, and manner you handle the situation is a reflection of your strength. Another factor that will determine how you handle the situation is knowing how secure you are. When you feel secure, you are not moved by the circumstances around you. It becomes difficult to be kind-hearted or show kindness, especially to perceived threats. Insecure people are very dangerous. They can kill and they can destroy.

When a wife is not secured, every female that comes around her husband is a threat. The same applies to an insecure man. When a man is insecure and his wife earns more money than he does, he becomes bitter. These are some of the things we have to knock off in the Christian faith. Why should you be intimidated because God is lifting your spouse? That shows that you don’t know your position! When you are in charge, you are not intimidated. Let anyone become anything, you know your position in God, and you are secured in God. When you are secure you are not intimidated by the role another is playing because your role is vitally important, and you rejoice in it.

When I listen to some people teach the bible, I like to be like them, which is a natural feeling. But I am Brother Mike and I am secure in who I am. I am God’s original. When God made me, he threw away every other copy. Beloved, when you operate within the confines of the call of God upon your life, there is an anointing that rests upon you. Do you know that there is a special call of God upon your life? There is a position for you. You don’t have to be someone else.
