BE LED BY GOD’S SPIRIT

BE LED BY GOD’S SPIRIT

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”. Romans 8:14 (KJV)

I see a lot of deception going on today in the name of church and ministry. Countless number of self-acclaimed prophets are all over town. They tell people what they want to hear and extort money from them. Honestly, I feel for those who are being deceived. They allow themselves to be prey in the hands of these people whose god is their bellies, whose glory is their shame, whose end is destruction and who are enemies of the cross. Be careful!

Now someone might be asking, Brother Mike, are there no true prophets? Of course, there are. The Bible talks about Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers given to the Church for the maturing of the saints and for the work of the ministry. But prophets don’t give direction. The Bible says, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Prophets are first teachers. When you operate in the office of a prophet, you must know how to rightfully divide the word of God. Someone who cannot even teach the Word and is prophesying can only be a false prophet.

Don’t harm yourself beloved, stay on your foundation. The Bible says, “I lay in Zion for a foundation, a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation.” He says when you believe, you will not be threatened. Enough of seeking the wisdom of men for your life, when God has already given you His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is your Guide, Teacher, Helper, Director, Comforter, Counsellor, and Friend. He knows the mind of God concerning you, reason why you must cultivate the habit of communing with Him, inquiring from and being led by Him. Away with all the vain pursuits that have befallen today’s church. Stay with the Holy Spirit.
