BE GROUNDED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

BE GROUNDED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” Isaiah 54:14 (KJV)

Until you are established in righteousness, there is no way you will be able to reign in this life. God’s design for every believer is to have dominion. There is a dominion mandate over our lives. We are made in God’s image and likeness. Notice that it was first a positioning before the manifestation. You are made first in His image, then in His likeness. It means you must first accept the position, and then you can now function like Him. You can’t function like God until you accept first that you are God’s authorised agent with divine credentials here on earth. If you fail to accept the truth, you cannot live for Him.

The word “establish” in the bible means to institute into being or to cause to be accepted or to set and settle permanently. Until you are established in righteousness, you can’t have the boldness to confront anything. And the devil loves it when you are not bold. The devil doesn’t mind you carrying the Bible or going to church every day if there are some revelations you have not established yourself in. What is of interest to him is to ensure that you are not established in certain things that will enable you to stand tall in the midst of adversity. And one of such things is righteousness.

From today, the devil will no longer hold you down. Your days of frustration are over. Your destiny will never be aborted. You have a colourful destiny. “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:29-30 KJV).

God called you to a glorified life. You will not see shame, nor will you see embarrassment. Today marks the end of every bondage in your life.
