BE FULLY PERSUADED
‘’For she said If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole’’. (Mark 5:28 KJV)
In this account of the woman with the issue of blood, multitudes were pressing in on Jesus. You will agree with me that with that kind of scenario several people touched Him. However, it was only the touch from this woman that sparked a supernatural healing miracle of a disease that had lasted 12 years.
What was the difference? The woman was fully persuaded. She was convinced that it will happen. She was so persuaded that she could no longer be dissuaded.
This woman said to herself ‘’If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole’’ this woman must have said that several times to herself to be fully persuaded.
The challenge a lot of people have is that when they confess their faith, they are not confessing it to themselves to be fully persuaded. Rather they are saying it to sort of commit God. They are indirectly saying to God, see everyone has heard me, you better do something to avoid embarrassment.
Beloved, God is already irrevocably committed as long as he has said it. God cannot be embarrassed. He is God! His word is sure. Once He has said it, as far as He is concerned, it is settled. God does not need to prove Himself to you or any other person. Nothing you do or do not do can change Him. He is perfectly committed to His word.
You are the one that needs to be fully persuaded, it is a done deal. So speak the word again and again to yourself until you become one with it and be assured, it will come to pass. Again, I say, it is a done deal!
