BE ESTABLISHED IN THE PRESENT TRUTH

BE ESTABLISHED IN THE PRESENT TRUTH

“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.” 2 Peter 1:12 (KJV)

There is a sound revelation that God is bringing to the Body of Christ in this day and hour. And it is not something new but rather that which God has reserved in this present day. Nothing takes God unawares. In these last days, God is unveiling some truth, given the diverse challenges and pressures the world will be going through. God has already gone ahead to open up what He has reserved in these last days.

There is what is called present truth in the scriptures. According to Jesus: “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:12-13 KJV)

Jesus was referring to when he would have died, resurrected, and ascended to heaven. Then He will send the Holy Spirit whose assignment will be to guide us into all truth. In the days of His earthly ministry, there are some things the Lord couldn’t teach but they are there. Now the Spirit of truth is beginning to open it up for the church in these last days. It is the assignment of the Holy Spirit to help you to become established in the present truth.

I want you to understand that at times, the present truth you are exposed to where you are may be contrary to what another preacher preaches. The reason is that we are not on the same page yet. And some people are slow to catch some revelation. So, they seem to be contradicting other people who are far ahead. Everyone should be on the same page when it comes to the teaching of the scriptures but not everyone is on the same page. It all depends on your revelation. May the Lord grant you understanding.
