ARM YOURSELF WITH GOD’S WORD

ARM YOURSELF WITH GOD’S WORD

“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven”
Psalms 119:89 KJV

As a believer, you must learn how to arm yourself dangerously with the Word of God. Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withereth and the flower fadeth, but the word of God abides forever”. The Psalmist in our bible text for today says: “For ever… thy Word is settled….” It is settled in heaven. So they cannot manipulate it here on earth. God settled it and came back to enforce it; to ensure that what He says happens. Look at it all round, you will see that God has made adequate provision for your victory. Sickness, barrenness, poverty, defeat or fear have no chance. Adequate provision has been made for you that every time the enemy shows up you can tell him shut up your mouth.

From Psalm 138:2, we know that God magnifies His Word above His Name. Psalm 89:34 tells us that, He will not break His covenant, nor alter that which is gone out of His lips. Prophet Jeremiah says that, God hastens His Word to perform it. Paul writing to Timothy in his second epistle in Chapter 3, verses 16 and 17, says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” In other words, when you engage the Word of God, you are armed and dangerous.

Speak life into your situation by declaring God’s Word. If you are sick in your body, don’t begin to plan to die, because you will live and not die. As you speak the Word, your body is changing for good. New cells are being created! New organs are being created. I command that cancerous growth in your body to dry up. I command your tube to be opened now in the name of Jesus. You will pass that examination. You will not be stranded. You are too loaded to fail.
