A TOUCH WITH A DIFFERENCE
“And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, who touched me?”
Mark 5:30 KJV
In the walk of faith, your receiving comes first before your feeling. If you read the entire story of the text above, the bible did not say that immediately she felt in her body. No! She touched, she received, and then she felt. Many of us want to feel first before we receive. No! Feeling comes last. However, what is so intriguing in that account is that, Jesus said that somebody had touched Him. ‘Jesus, what do you mean by that question? You are in such a crowd and you are telling us that somebody touched you?’ Yes! He said ‘somebody different has touched me.’
What was the distinguishing factor? Some people touched to feel the texture of His garment. Some touched by mistake because they were pushing also through the crowd. There were others who touched out of curiosity. In order words, they just touched Him, not because they wanted anything but just to leave that service and tell their neighbour, ‘You know what? He shook my hand. But this woman had a purpose. Her point of release of faith was let me touch.’ In her heart, she believed that the encounter would mark the end of her situation.
I don’t know how long you may have been in that situation and the devil has been lying to you. Satan may have threatened you and made your life uncomfortable. He may have been manipulating God’s purpose for you and fighting your progress. There is enough Grace upon your life to bring an end to every satanic hand and contradiction in your life. You have celebrated other people’s birthday, wedding and child dedication. It is now your turn to be celebrated. Your season of breakthrough is here. You will be celebrated. There is Grace available to stop every sickness and disease. Grace is available to open that door for you. Make up your mind that it is a new day in your life. You will come back with testimonies in Jesus Name.
