YOU DON’T KNOW LIKE I KNOW
“And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.” (2 Samuel 6:14 KJV)
When David was bringing back the Ark of the Lord from Obededom’s house, he sacrificed offerings unto the Lord with every sixth pace. Not only that, he also danced before the Lord with all his might. Today, some of you have to be forced to get excited about God. Some have to be pushed to dance. If you know like I know, what God has done in my life, you will not be coerced to praise God. Don’t despise anyone getting excited about God, you don’t know like he knows.
When you are in church and you see some people lifting their hands or standing up, don’t turn-up your nose. You don’t know like they know. You don’t know what God brought them through. You don’t know the sufferings they experienced over the years, which God supernaturally brought them out of. Jesus paid the price and silenced the voice of the enemy. David danced to the point where he threw out his garment and took off his shoes. Shoes or no shoes I will serve God, for this God has been good to me. When you have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, no one will push you to love and serve God. Something on the inside of you will be driving you. You will be going like a moving train because the passion will be there.
When David remembered all his sins, how he messed up with Bathsheba and how he orchestrated the death of Uriah and yet God did not kill him. Rather God showed him mercy and grace. David remembered it clearly. He remembered how he was forgotten at the back of the desert. There was a conference to appoint a new king and he was to be the king but they said no, we will not announce your name. But God moved for him and shut down every other person. God will overrule for you.
