KEEP IT IN VIEW
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)
Gradually, the first half of the year is rolling away and we are entering into the second half. Let me ask you, child of God, the things you asked God for at the beginning of the year, can you still remember them? The instructions God gave you at the beginning of the year, are you still following them? It has been rightly said that if you fail to plan, you have only planned to fail. Planning is not contrary to the will of God and it does not negate your faith.
The things you asked God for will not fall on you like a bag of cherries. Like I always say, any prayer that depends 100% on God and you have no part to play is an irresponsible prayer. So today, I want you to bring out the things you wrote at the beginning of the year, look at them again, how many have been answered, and how many are still outstanding. In case you did not even care to write them down, don’t be condemned, take a notepad and write them down now. Don’t procrastinate.
Having written them down, can you begin to seek the face of God concerning them and receive instructions from His mouth? Let Him speak to you concerning those requests and as He does, write them down. Don’t take mental knowledge, because you will forget. Write them down, write down scriptures concerning those areas, then take a decision to obey every word that God will speak to you concerning those requests. Don’t write them and throw the note pad away, review them every day in your quiet time, listen to God’s instruction concerning them and be a doer and you will see every dream and desire come to pass.
The reason God wants you to write them down, is that you may run. You cannot make progress without the word of God. When you have a vision and you have received instruction and you obey, you have put springs in your feet for acceleration and the devil cannot stop it.
