ACCESSING THE “NOW” GOD

ACCESSING THE “NOW” GOD

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”

(Hebrews 11:1 KJV)

My heart reaches out to people who probably feel frustrated because so much has happened in their lives and as such they are not willing to try again. You feel so much like a loser who is merely existing and you are no longer believing God for anything.  This is actually an indication that you don’t understand the workings of God.

The word ‘now’ speaks of a defining moment, it speaks of timing and it speaks of season. If you don’t know how to access now you can never get the future. The God that you and I serve lives in the eternal now, he does not live in the future or in the past. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. So you must approach God in the now irrespective of the challenges you may be facing. Now is when God answers prayers and brings deliverance. The Bible says now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things we do not see. Faith is now, never tomorrow or yesterday. It is now that you are facing challenges and difficulties. It is now that it seems that your effort is not producing. It is now that you have been denied your promotion. That is the time to lay hold of what God said because he does not lie.

There is no accident in God. We are all products of God’s divine plan and purpose. Beloved, your parents may have said: “We did not plan to give birth to you”. That is their own idea and not God’s idea concerning you. The scripture declares: “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. (Romans 8:29, 30 KJV) You are not called for shame, reproach or disappointment. You are called for glory.
