“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”; Ephesians 5:19

The reason why God wants us to speak to ourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs is because when you begin to do so, it creates in you a positive mentality and motivates you to begin to give thanks because you already know the outcome. Rather than complain and murmur, you start thanking God because some how you will begin to see the picture of victory. David said the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; it’s a new day, I will not want because this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. reason it seems as if things are falling apart is because you are seeing the wrong picture; things always have two sides but the beautiful thing is that God’s own side will always be superimposed on the wrong side, when you lay hold on it. What you are saying about yourself is not a lie but the truth and the truth will always overrule the fact. Jesus who is the truth can’t fail. I challenge you therefore from today to wake every morning and create your world.
God is not a man that He should lie, has He said it and shall He not do it, has he spoken and shall He not bring it to pass? Every word that has been prophesied over your life for good, no matter how seemingly impossible they are, I declare that they shall come to pass. Beginning from today, every day of your life will give you a testimony. No one will take your song. God brought you out to bring you into the promised land. There is a “there” for you in God. The fact that you made a declaration yesterday and the day was the worst ever should not stop you from speaking into your world today. The word works, but you have
to be consistent. The devil will want to paint a picture to you that the words you spoke yesterday did not come to pass, don’t listen to him, keep speaking because you will soon see the result.
