The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress, and my Deliverer. He is my God and in Him do I trust. He is my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. I have called upon the Lord for He is worthy to be praised and He has saved me from my enemies (Psalms 18:1-3)
Behold, the Lord will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; He will make a way for me in the wilderness and rivers to flow in my desert. Isaiah 43:19. His thoughts towards me are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give me an expected end. Therefore when I call upon Him, He will answer me and He will show me great and mighty things. (Jer. 29:11-12; Jer. 33:3)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
This is my season of recovery; everything the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar and the palmer worm has eaten shall be restored unto me. I will pursue, overtake and recover all. (Joel 2:25; 1 Sam 30:8). The Lord will give me the treasures of darkness, and the hidden riches of secret places; I will be sought after. (Is. 45:3)
I know that all things work together for my good because I love God, and because I am the called according to His purpose. In everything I give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning me (Rom. 8:28; 1 Thess. 5:18). The Lord has assured me that He will never leave me nor forsake me, so that I may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13:5-6)
