Selah… Think on these things by Adenike Ojumu

It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.(Ecclesiastes 7:2)

I find it so natural when I hear of someone dying to think……. I think about what they must have been thinking about or doing when it happened; I think about how the loved ones feel and so much more. 

In my brief life thus far, I have seen a few people pass on, and very few have touched me deeply the way the passing of Dr Myles and the others who passed on a few days ago. 

I have listened to his messages so much more in his death than I ever did in his lifetime. I can imagine a lot of other people have too. And then I ask myself why didn’t I listen to him more before now. This man has said so so much!!! He lived and spoke with so much certainty of his purpose. I am awed, so inspired and am still gleaning…..

When I look at and listen to his children, I am even more awed. A new day dawns even for me. A whole new perspective. A whole new zeal. A whole new motivation. I go to school. School? Yes! I’m off to a new school of the Spirit – with Intense focused, open and willing to learn. Teach me Lord. A school tailored specific to His plan for me….. Perhaps you might want to go to school too. 

I want to be ALL that He wants me to be more than ever before. God truly may not explain himself but He is already revealing Himself because indeed there is a  greater purpose in all of this. 

If you are like me, you will also reach out to a new day, a new dawn like never before.
